We look forward to reading your applications and we highly encourage anyone considering this role to apply today. We are looking for the following positions: -President- Description: Responsible for overseeing all activities of the Society. The President will liaise with each Committee member throughout the year and is ultimately responsible for the wellbeing of the Society. In addition, the President works very closely with the Faculty and is in charge of liaising with the Admissions Officer in the organisation of the SELCS Post-Offer Open Days. -Treasurer- Description: In charge of the Society’s finances, the Treasurer must keep an account of the Society’s incomings and outgoings. All Society expenses must be approved by the Treasurer. -Secretary- Description: Responsible for the organisation of the Society. The Secretary must organise all Committee meetings, providing both an agenda for the meeting and the Minutes. -Year Abroad Secretary- Description: This position must be filled by someone who has completed their Year Abroad. The Year Abroad Secretary will assist with the second year’s preparation for Year Abroad through additional, more informal Q&A sessions. -Affiliates Secretary- Description: Responsible for the Affiliate/exchange students that study at SELCS. This will be done by creating relationships with employers and inviting them to speak to SELCS students. -Media and Communications Officer- Description: Responsible for the image of the Society. The Media officer will maintain the Society’s website, Instagram and Facebook page, advertise our events and design posters.
